What nationwide access do I get with Pro or Pro Plus AI?

Do I need to be licensed in other states?
You do not need to be licensed in another state to see bid opportunities in that state. You may, however, need to be licensed to perform work in that state. Licensing requirements are specific to each open opportunity and set by the posting agency.
Can I search by region or agency?
Yes! VendorLine's search functionality allows you to search by state or county, as well as by agency, bid type, due date, stage, and keyword.
Can I submit a state or local bid through PlanetBids?
Yes, when the agency hosts its solicitations on PlanetBids. These bids are marked with the PlanetBids icon, and you submit through that agency's PlanetBids Vendor Portal.
Can I track state and local bids from agencies outside the PlanetBids Network?
Yes. For state and local bids outside the PlanetBids Network, PlanetBids will help you find and track the opportunity, and you can submit directly to the agency.
What does the “PB” Icon mean on my dashboard?
The blue “PB” icon listed on a solicitation means the agency who posted the bid opportunity hosts its solicitations on PlanetBids.
Can I submit a federal bid through PlanetBids?
PlanetBids helps you find and track federal opportunities. When you're ready to respond and submit, Open Details takes you to SAM.gov, the official source.
Which plans include federal opportunities?
Federal opportunities are included in Pro and Pro Plus AI.
What if I don't want to see federal bids?
No problem. You can hide them anytime. In Matching Criteria, uncheck Federal and your matches, VendorLine Today emails, and notifications will show only State & Local opportunities. You can still include federal bids in any individual search using the filter panel, and you can change your preference anytime.
